About Me.
After over 30 years teaching theatre in high school and privately, I am a proud member of Teaching Artist Alliance as a professional teaching artist offering workshops in directing, stage management, Acting the Moment, Character Development through the use of movement and masks, RASA Boxes, and Paper (or Trash) Bag Costumes. I am also a professional director, stage manager and actress. Some of my favorite acting projects include playing Grandma in The Addams Family, Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet, Miss Hannigan in Annie, Golde in Fiddler on the Roof and Dottie in Noises Off. I served as Production Stage Manager, Actress and Artistic Director for Theatre West Virginia over the past 10 years and am a professional member of the Educational Theatre Association. I am currently the Nevada Thespian State Co-Director. And I am also a member of EdTA’s Advocacy Leadership Network serving on several national committees to further excellence in educational theatre.
